About the artist

Christine Guillemin

Christine Guillemin sculpts bronze works. The sculpture stands out as an evidence inspired by Giacometti. Bronze, his only choice, lets spring from his creations an expression of heart and soul that inhabits slender silhouettes, in the grace of movement and the presence of an atmosphere. Animals are also honored and represent an important part of the sculptures, a powerful and poetic approach to the wild world.

She made her first sketches at the « Villa d’Alesia » and walked with Jonathan Hirschsfeld in 1993 in Paris. In his hands the work takes shape in the spontaneity of the gesture and the emotion, his work expresses itself freely with elegance in an approach of the intimate.
